SKIING > ADAPTIVE SKI

Val Thorens is a great resort for adaptive skiers and has some good access points:

Val Thorens 1850 : the Plantrey and Pralong ski lifts
Val Thorens 1650 : the Belvédère and the Granges ski lifts
Val Thorens 1550 : the Tovets ski lifts
La Tania : the Tania cable car, via an access ramp.

Ski passes are half the normal price as it is for those accompanying.

There are disabled toilets at the summit of the Verdons cable car. This area also has a picnic room with a wheel chair for use there free of charge (available on request from the personnel on site).

Many of the ski schools have specially trained instructors who can accompany disabled skiers.
